My name is Michael Sieler. I’m a microbiome data scientist. I earned my Ph.D. in the Sharpton Lab in the Department of Microbiology at Oregon State University in 2025.

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Liberti Lab in the Department of Genetics and Evolution at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, investigating the social microbiome and gut microbiota–brain axis of eusocial bees.

The purpose of this site is to provide a central space to share my research and work experience, and projects.
